Environmental protection and sustainability in injection molding Responsible production of plastic components
Sustainability in the material cycle
Our production process regularly generates start-up parts, sprues or simply scrap. To contribute to a more sustainable future in the plastics industry, we make use of recycled material. By using our own recycling mill, we can process these materials ourselves, which not only minimizes our environmental impact but also conserves valuable resources. This is an important step towards environmentally conscious production and emphasises our commitment to ecological responsibility.
Use of bioplastics and their benefits
In addition to recycled materials, we rely on bioplastics made from renewable raw materials. These offer the major advantage of biodegradability, meaning they can decompose naturally under certain conditions. By using bioplastics, we are further helping to reduce our environmental impact and are promoting the use of sustainable materials in our production.
Dispatch optimisation for even greater sustainability
DHL Green Label
In our efforts to embed sustainability throughout our company, we have implemented targeted measures to optimize our shipping processes, which are both environmentally friendly and efficient. A key aspect of this initiative is the application of the DHL Green Label to our logistics processes. This commitment with DHL helps us to significantly reduce the CO2 emissions of our deliveries and to actively protect the environment.
Returnable packaging
We also use returnable packaging for transport to many of our customers. This reusable packaging not only reduces the use of single-use materials, but also improves the efficiency of our logistics thanks to its reusability and robustness. The consistent use of this packaging strategy enables us to reduce material consumption and use resources more sustainably.
