Environmental protection and sustainability in injection moulding Responsible production of plastic components
Sustainability in the material cycle
In our production process, we regularly produce start-up parts, sprues or simply rejects. In order to make our contribution to a more sustainable future in the plastics industry, we use recyclate, i.e. recycled plastic. By using our own recycling mill, we can process these materials ourselves, which not only minimises our environmental impact but also conserves valuable resources. This is an important step towards environmentally conscious production and emphasises our commitment to ecological responsibility.
Use of bioplastics and their advantages
In addition to recycled materials, we also use bioplastics made from renewable raw materials. These offer the major advantage of biodegradability, which means that they can decompose naturally under certain conditions. By using bioplastics, we are further helping to reduce our environmental impact and are promoting the use of sustainable materials in our production.
Dispatch optimisation for even greater sustainability
DHL Green Label
In our efforts to embed sustainability throughout our company, we have implemented targeted measures to optimise our shipping processes, which are both environmentally friendly and efficient. A central aspect of this initiative is the application of the DHL Green Label to our logistics processes. This commitment with DHL helps us to significantly reduce the CO2 emissions produced by our deliveries and to actively protect the environment.
Reusable packaging
We also use reusable packaging for transport to many of our customers. This reusable packaging not only reduces the use of disposable materials, but also improves the efficiency of our logistics thanks to its reusability and robustness. The consistent use of this packaging strategy enables us to reduce material consumption and utilise resources in a more sustainable fashion.
