Use of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE)
Our experienced application engineers use advanced computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools to realise a large proportion of the component optimisation virtually. This process allows us to achieve the best possible product in an efficient manner:
- Filling simulation
The filling simulation identifies critical mass accumulations in the design, enabling a reduced use of materials. This not only contributes to a mould design that is suitable for injection moulding, but also protects the environment. - Shrinkage and warpage calculation
The shrinkage and warpage calculation is a standard part of our CAE package. It enables us to take precautions in the injection mould to avoid shrinkage-related problems at a later stage. - Documentation of parameters for process reliability
The meticulous documentation of all process parameters ensures consistent quality and promotes process reliability during production.

The fast creation of prototypes is guaranteed thanks to rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies. These methods enable realistic tests and quick adjustments before the final tool is created. Our prototyping processes guarantee the optimum functionality and cost-effectiveness of your products before they move into series production.
Of course, 0/pre-series with aluminium tools or the replacement of tool inserts in existing master moulds are also feasible - please contact us to discuss. We find an optimal solution for every requirement.
